1. Definitions
Course means the Human Evolution Specialists course, as promoted on the website https://humanevolution.nz
Student means the person enrolled or enrolling in the Course
Trainers means Pauline Avis McNab and David McNab
Start Date refers to the beginning of the commencement date of the Course, which shall be 12am 9 October 2021.
2. Enrolment and Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
Online Completion and Submission of the enrolment form at humanevolution.nz/enrol shall constitute full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3. Refunds
Once enrolment form is submitted, then the student shall be liable for the full fee of the course if s/he decides to withdraw on or after the Start Date of the course. Withdrawal prior before or during commencement of the course. Withdrawal prior to the Start Date shall render the Student liable for 50% of the total course fee.
4. Risk and Liability
Students enrolling and participating in the Course do so at their own risk. While all reasonable care and attention will be provided by the Trainers, the Student shall assume full responsibility for their safety, health, emotional and physical welfare, and the safety of any personal property. Trainers shall not be responsible for any economic loss incurred by the Student in the event that experiences of the Course result in a diminished capability of the student to earn an income. It is the responsibility of the Student to advise the Trainers of any health condition which may impact the Student’s ability to complete the prescribed training activities, or expose the Student to medical or other danger as a result of participation in the Course. Trainers shall not be held responsible for failure on the part of the Student to provide such information.
5. Consequences of Default
In the event that the Student fails to uphold their weekly course payments schedule, or otherwise fails to honour their financial obligations within one month of them being due, and does not make alternative arrangements to the satisfaction of the Trainers, the Student gives consent for the Trainers to add interest, legal fees and collection costs to the debt owed by the Student. In addition, the Student waives their rights under the Privacy Act and consents to their information being shared with credit bureaus, and for private information held by other entities to be disclosed to the Trainers for the purposes of recovering the debt owed by the Student
6. Conduct
Conduct on the part of any Student which in the Trainers’ opinion jeopardises the orderly running of the Course, or otherwise impacts adversely on the ability of other Students to gain full benefit of the Course teaching, may result in the suspension of the Student from part or all of the remaining sessions of the Course. In the event of such suspension, the Student will still be liable for the full payment of the Course training fee.
7. Future Updates to Terms
These terms may be amended at the discretion of the Trainers. Any such updates will not result in increases to any course feels or agreed payments without consent of Students, but will cover other administrative and contractual areas at the advice of counsel. Updates will be sent to Students by email, and if no objections are received from the Student within five working days, shall take effect by the end of five working days and supersede all prior Terms and Conditions.
